Since 2017, he has been in the frontline of innovation and digital transformation at Sibelga, supporting the organization’s mission to facilitate and accelerate the energy transition in Brussels. His focus includes strengthening the organization’s data and digital architecture, developing new solutions for the benefit of Brussels citizens, advancing network asset intelligence and digitalizing Sibelga’s field operations. Additionally, he has overseen the establishment of a high-performant and secured data center with a hybrid cloud approach.

Herbert is appreciated for inspiring people and investing in the well-being of his teams. He is committed to fostering a culture of empowerment where team members are encouraged to explore, experiment and evolve and to nurturing talents in the fields of information, technology, and digitalization.
